The Ethanol Boom
The world is in a fuel crisis, with petrol prices sky-rocketing the whole world is looking for clean, renewable resource. Many nations, to include the US are turning to ethanol as a fuel source. In South America many nations have already put ethanol into use. In the US many states have put state and federal funding into research for ethanol-based power plants, and some states have moved to 10% ethanol gas stations. Here in Florida, Gov. Charlie Crist took a delegation to Brazil to view their sugar and ethanol refineries for research and to make a state plan to substitute ethanol for petrol or methane based power plants. In the states of Iowa, Nebraska, Idaho, and Kansas, they have instituted programs that reward farmers that set aside some of their crops for ethanol refining. Think what this could mean to Amerika Samoa?

Whats going on?
I use to always log onto Malama's website and find the recent and most up to date news on here. A few months ago, Malama's website started to drag and then stopped uploading Talofa Samoa Talk Shows and News stories. I am unsure as to why this is happening, but I would really much appreciate it if this website went back to the way it was when it first started. At least give us one reliable and up to date news source online. Especially for us Samoans in the Mainland who are curious about what is going on in American Samoa, our home. Please consider this request and I hope to log on the next time and read about a recent story Malama has to share with us. Just asking???
Will the TV series "Seki" be available for viewing on the Malama TV website? It sure looks interesting and very entertaining. I hope its not too much to ask given that Malama TV is already providing outstanding services to the people of American Samoa locally and world wide. Thank you for the seconds of your time.

Malama TV & Staff:

Malo Lava Malama
My family enjoys watching your news. Thankyou for giving us the opportunity to keep updated with the news! Malo lava to Fagafaga and staff for a job well done! keep up the good work!

Keep Up the Good Work!
I'm very impressed with Savali Talavou (Speaker of the House) and Charlie Tautolo's (Vice Speaker) efforts to save money by reducing unnecessary spending on house staff employees.   These are newly appointed individuals; who didn't hesitate to step on the plate and said, "enough is enough."     Our American Samoa Government are filled with dishonest and corrupted individuals,  who are self-centered and refused to find ways to control costs and eliminate waste within their working area.

Thank you...
Thank you for keeping us here in the Mainland on local news and other interesting stories on what's going on at home. One of the best local news
