We have inquired about selection process for several of the sports for the SPG this year, but have yet to recieve a response. It is a bit disappointing that although we are natural born Samoans, we have not been able to succeed in participation. And in order for us to become proud representatives, communication has to be consistent and of course ongoing.
Athletes of all sports here in the mainland would love the opportunity to represent our island, yet still remain in our system is a known fact. That for a long time we are selected not by our talents alone, but by whom you know.
For those representing our island during the games this year, we in California wish you all the best in all you do. Do our island and your families proud! Manuia le fai faiva!
