ANZ Amerika Samoa Bank this week launched their new banking system, which replaces their old computer system of over 20 years. The new system cost the bank over $5 million, which they said is further evidence of their commitment to the American Samoa community.
The new system will allow ANZ to provide new products and services, and offer customers more flexibility in how they wish to bank. ANZ will also be able to offer Internet Banking later this year through the new system.
“This new system places us near the cutting edge of modern banking technology, and while our customers may not notice much difference initially, in time the benefits will be very clear to them,” said ANZ Amerika Samoa Bank President Gary Ayre.
“With new technology, simplified processes, a greater variety of products and services and more efficient transaction processing, customers have a better experience every time. It’s all about exceeding our customers’ expectations,” said Gary Ayre.
