Informative and entertaining. A live morning show featuring a line up of guests discussing current community issues. American Samoa's most popular morning talk show, watched worldwide online.
Members of the local business community were urged last night to support the underwater fiber optic project, and the government’s efforts to establish a call center industry in American Samoa.
At last night’s Chamber of Commerce meeting, chamber president David Robinson reported that Infotech, the call center company that is working toward establishing a presence here once American Samoa is connected to the underwater fiber network, is progressing well.
Robinson said the reaction from the business sector toward the call center initiative has been “lukewarm at best.”
He urged everyone to get behind the call center industry plan, as it will result in many spin offs that will benefit the local economy. He cited improved infrastructure and increased consumer spending, which would translate to increased revenues for stores, restaurants, car dealers and housing.
