Informative and entertaining. A live morning show featuring a line up of guests discussing current community issues. American Samoa's most popular morning talk show, watched worldwide online.
The Festival Village is really coming together in Utulei, where most of the activities for the 10th Festival of Pacific Arts will take place. Construction of the seven Samoan fale on the beach and the 27 on the Samoana High School malae are just about completed.
All concession stands are now being moved to the beach area across from the Lee Auditorium so as not to obstruct the view of the viallge fale setting.
One of the traditional structures built next to the Yacht Club parking lot is the Fale Vaa, where the traditional voyagers and canoe builders will gather during the festival.
This week, a wood carver from Samoa, Liki Ioane, who came to American Samoa as a guest worker at the canneries, decided to donate his time to carve the posts of the Fale Vaa, while he is on break from the canneries.
Malama TV talked with Liki Ioane today about his decorative carving.
