What is this?

Dear People of Malama News..I am an dog owner myself. Eradicating "stray dogs" for the sake of the Art Festival? Define eradication...to rid of..despose...

As for the Art Festival, I have no problem with that, but we do have a problem with the Dept. of Agriculture and the Aumagas of Nuuuli Village on how they took this upon themselves to "kill/destroy" my family's house/yard dogs.

Questions? what was their intention to rid our family's dogs? Our family's dogs were house/yard/family dogs who protected the "Leapaga home" in the village of Nuuuli... I'm a dog owner myself and to hear that our family's dogs were "poison" is beyond me, and in the village of Nuuuli...and

The Art Festival is held where? and to also hear that the Dept. of Agriculture and the Aumagas of the village of Nuuuli, had saturated the meat with "poison" drove down the road and tossed the meat on every property who supposingly had "stray dogs" ate it and "died" instantly, they got ahold of the 10+ poisoned dead dogs and tossed them into the waters off of the coast of Nuuuli Village/Coconut Point...floating in the waters alongside the shore of Nuuuli Village and Coconut Point ending at the Colemans Property!!..then to make matters worse..the Aumagas of the village of Nuuuli, blamed the Dept. of Humane Society for taking part of this insane/inhuman/intent to kill dogs!!

How strange? and wrong intentions. Yes, we found out it was the Dept. of Agriculture and the Aumagas of the village of Nuuuli who killed our family dogs, and try to blame it on the Dept. of Humane Society?

Govenor of Samoa and all the Depts of American Samoa whom my father Penitila K. Leapaga Sr. had written to in concerns on eradicating or trappings ( you might call it) we the Leapaga family of the village of Nuuuli "want justice done."

As for the Art Festival, I and our family is supportive to the Art Festival and we had always were participants in the Art Festival..and we have seen stray dogs, yes! but stray dogs would come and go, but "Eradicating poison dead dogs" into the waters and shoreline of the Village of Nuuuli is beyond me.

Thank you Malama TV for publishing our stories to the communities of American Samoa..
